UNDERWATER LANCE
Certain jobs with pressurized water need to be performed underwater, mainly in the sea. Pressurized water is handled by underwater operators. The pressurized water jet produces, in the opposite direction to the outlet, a reaction force that the operator must withstand. When diving, the diver has no point of support; unable to withstand the reaction, they would be propelled backward. The ROSTOR underwater lance is designed so that the diver is not subjected to any reaction effort and remains stable in the working position.
OPERATION
The accessory must be coupled to a high-pressure gun. The underwater lance has two opposite outlets; the same nozzle diameter must be mounted at each end. When the gun is opened, water flows in both directions, forward to perform the work and backward, dissipating into the water. The reaction forces counteract each other, and the resultant is zero.

Cleaning of columns on oil platforms, docks, jetties, cleaning of submerged ship hulls, underwater outfalls…
